Financial Support and refurnishing homes after 2022 Northern Rivers Floods.

 

In 2022, the Northern Rivers in NSW experienced devasting floods, which took out many towns and left the community with nothing except the clothing on their bodies.

We provided emergency funding, washing machines, clothing, and household goods for people suffering financial hardship.

We also financially supported other local non-profit organisations who were on the ground feeding and supporting the people affected.  Koori Kitchen was one of the organisations that were on the ground pumping out food whilst all the serves were out and for the coming months whiles people restored their homes.

Approximately $80,000 was distributed to those in need.
